iPod Shuffle-3rd Generation

Well my iPod classic is still sitting at home and my mom keeps forgetting to send it to me so I decided to buy a shuffle.

Yes. I SAID SHUFFLE, even though I can not see anything and it only holds 1,000 songs and I have 4132 songs and 232 movies/videos I needed something until May and it's not that bad.

Apple just released this iPod about two weeks ago so I decided to buy it and I really like it.

The thing about this iPod is that even though you can not see anything the headphones are the main focus of the iPod. It has a little remote on it which allows you change the volume, the song and the playlist. It also has a new feature called VoiceOver that allows you to hear the song that is playing while you are listening to it.

It's $79 and I enjoy having it until I get my classic back in May.

2nd semester has been kicking my ass but I'm happy that it is
I'm on spring break right and no I didn't go anywhere fancy..I went to Indianapolis to relax with my family (ahhhhh)

Free Time on My Hands

for some reason I have been having a lot of free time on my hands which is a positive but also a negative

with my free time I have been able to read books for fun..i have not done this in past year

so far I was able to borrow Sister Souljah's new book Midnight


Her first The Coldest Winter Ever was CRAZY, so I knew had to read this one
I also just ordered A.L.T:A Memoir, which is the memoir of Andre Leon Talley
I am into fashion but not a fashionista..but for some reason I feel like I have to read his memoir

The negative of having so much free time I feel like I forgot to do something or that I need to do it over. Oh well hopefully I can still learn about time management and how to balance everything out.

what a nite

last nite was .......
so the Delta's and AKA's had their unity party last nite which was poppin

for the first time since i been in greencastle there was REGGAE MUSIC..i was so fcukin happy,you have no idea how good it feels to hear that instead of some slow ass baby making music but anyway

i had on my dress from homecoming that was already short but since I grew this summer it got even shorter.....and some black knee high boots..yes i was looking cute :-D

anyway the party was live..the Alphas,Zetas,Sigmas,Ques,SgRho's,and Kappas was there (sorry if I left you out)..but the reason I liked this party was that everyone was dancing and strolling it wasn't only one thing

but damn it sure did get hot FAST!!!

the party was over at 2:13...and i ain get in my bed til 4..from talking a Que that almost killed me the last time I saw him and then chilling with the people in my dorm

that was a great nite but I WILL NEVER WEAR A DRESS AGAIN!!!!!

short hair,long hair..i don't know

ok so I cut my hair in August before I left for school and everyone LOVES IT on me because I finally don't look like I'm still a freshman in HS i can finally pass for a senior is HS (lol)

i kind of regret it now because being in Greencastle (which is a hour away from real civilization or any hair salons) I have no one to do my hair and now I'm fcuked

I was thinking about going to Chicago for spring break and go get my hair put in micros and let it grown back..i wanna keep my hair short but I want to have the top of my hair long and full

I don't know should I keep it short or grow it back??

not anymore my mom decided to cut me off for this semester and that I should work(as if I wasn't already) and earn my own money

2 days after she does this..the president of my school sends out a email discussing how tuition has gone up(thanks mom this is a great time to leave me on my own)

i already have two jobs but at $6.55/hr thats chump change..I'm used to getting $10/hr and up..but hey what can I say I am in Indiana and the cost of living is WAY LESS than living in NYC

i need more money..i need to buy more HOT POCKETS.ugggh!!! lol

since I been back from Indiana..being back in nyc is making me realize why I left in the first place..uggh

like don't get me wrong I LOVE BROOKLYN and like i love my neighborhood its so diverse and original but once i step out of it all i see are clones...everyone looks the same or tries to look the same...it seems that my generation is caught up with MONEY..like don't get me wrong i like to have money but im not gonna spend it on something that someone else or that everyone else has

i feel that they assume if they look like they got money it makes them more important WRONG...in brooklyn someone well assume "oh their fly or have money" but to the brands that you are wearing they are saying thank you for spending hundreds of dollars on clothes that are already out of season or out of style and to corporate america you are just another consumer and not important

before you spend think about why you are really spending it..is it because everyone else has it and you want to "Fit In" or is it because you want to look like have money???

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

well i finally saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and......

I LOVED IT!!!!
even though the movie is almost three hours long it is so good....there were so many different points in the movie where I wanted to cry or had tears in my eyes.

The tagline of the movie stuck with me and it has a deeper meaning depending on how you interpret it..

"Life isn't measured in minutes,but in moments"

this has a real deep meaning,especially for what I am going through right now in my life. this year i plan on making moments that I can remember and not regret.

First Post of 2009

2009=THE YEAR OF OBAMA!!!!

today is the first post of 2009 and I have a lot to say about my night..hehe

after me and my mommy said our resolutions and watched the ball drop,it was time for me to go out...then all the cell phones stopped working so at that moment my night was about to end in my house

THANKFULLY they started working again...i met up my friends arielle,taznay,and danielle...all of them was GONE...so we get to the party and its a whole bunch of kids thats still in HS..so im like iite imma see this is gonna go...all of a sudden I had a flashback to my party when dudes is a about to start fighting and im like OMFG..this shit is blowin mines....so we left walked to fulton and got some popeyes,after the popeyes run we came back to the party because it was cold AS HELL outside...I'm skipping mad details because they not important...but any way some of my sons that's still in HS there friend actually got my number and I'm like how old are you and he was like "im 17",i was like damn u still a baby..he was like na i can do grown man things though and im like you gotta be kidding me but I ended up giving him my number and then he WILD tried TO KISS ME (smhhhhh) but he was cute...after that we basically left the cab and taznay and danielle wanted a cab so these fools stopped EVERY car that drove by and almost got hit by every car that went by...we finally got a cab and then when I get home i realized I left my phone in the cab thank god taznay was still in the cab...
